1. Company History

SAE S.p.A. is founded to perform the first railway electrification project in

Italy (Bolzano-Brennero line)

SADELMI starts operations in Argentina.

Main activities: power generation, transmission and distribution, industrial

plants and infrastructures

SAE and SADELMI merge and following the acquisition by ABB group,

they originate ABB Sae Sadelmi. The new company acquires Soimi, ABB

Generatori, ABB Flakt Italy and Rebosio, thus strengthening its role of

engineering and contracting company.

ABB Sae Sadelmi divided in two different companies:

•ABB Sae S.p.A

•ABB Sadelmi S.p.A.

ABB Sae divided in two different units:

•ABB Sae Transmission

•ABB Sae Distribution
