The Literati Newsletter• Launched our monthly newsletter coined as ‘The Literati’ in collaboration
with the DNA.
• Our own fourth estate shall reflect creative writing and reading skills of our
Mount Literans, educators and leaders at MLZS PAN India.
• It’s a monthly newsletter and given to all students for developing
vocabulary.
• Inhabit the current affairs which keep our students abreast with the latest

HUMAN RIGHTS EDUCATION CLUB
The MLZS students are educated about the Human Rights and Values as part of the HRE Club Organised in
collaboration of Zee Learn with Amnesty International. The staff and students are actively engaged in activities
and trips to old age home, orphanage etc to sensitize them about the right to living with dignity and respect for
all and to develop their critical thinking skills and concern or empathy
DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP PROGRAM
Digital Citizenship Program (DCP) is the part of academic excellence in MLZS. This program addresses the 21st
century skills and is aligned to the ESP as well through digital media literacy. Digital Citizenship aims to teach
responsible, safe and ethical use of technology.
Digital Citizenship program will be a separate program that will be divided into various sessions across grades
SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS CLUBOur School aims to achieve a broad and balanced school curriculum regularly making reference to the 2030
Agenda for Sustainable Development formed by UN which include a set of 17 goals to Fight inequality and
injustice, Clean Water and Sanitation, Gender Equality, Quality Education and Good Health and Well-being and
the SDGs link easily to these.
SPORTS CLUBMLZS Sports Club is introduced this year which includes various sports like Basketball, Football, Table Tennis
which will keep our students engaged with physical activities.

E-learning is indeed no substitute for real classroom teaching, however, the time has
provided a strange glimpse into the possible future of learning and up skilling students
in digital literacy.
KPMLZS has been successfully engaging students during the lockdown period by:
Uploading videos on the topic the students need to focus on, and sending worksheets
based on these videos to keep a check if the student has watched the video. All these is
done via our school app.
Assignments are uploaded every week as per the homework schedule, to build up thelogical ability of students and to focus on their meta cognitive skills.
STUDENTS WERE KEPT ENGAGED DURING LOCKDOWN PERIOD
Brief description of the assignments during lockdown
•Videos on grammar topics and questions based on it.
•Exercise-based on old newspapers and our school newsletter.
•Number writing, months of the year, family vocabulary (uncle, aunt, brother, sister,
etc).
•Story writing, Biography writing.
•Read the given comprehension and answer the questions.
•Comic based stories on King Ashoka, King Babur, Mahavir, etc and questions based
on it.
Brief description of the assignments during lockdown
•Students were asked to make the craft, and also write the steps, referring the video of
the craftwork uploaded.
•Story-based sums on Math.
•Videos on environment and questionnaire worksheet based on it.
•Students were encouraged to practice the PT exercise, Harmonium, Tabla, Khatak,
Bharatnatyam by sharing the lessons on the school app.
Students were also asked to mail the videos and photos of their practice and these were uploaded on the school website to motivate them.
Brief description of the assignments during lockdown
•Scholastic ebook Library…. Access was given to read about 1100 e-books (free upto
15th May)
•Scholastic- Story writing competition message was sent to students grade 4 to 9.
• Parents were asked to enroll their ward for online Personality Enrichment Program –
PEP www.prepmyskills.com . Children can access the program anytime using a digital
aid.
• Link to Zoom class organized by Furtados School of Music was sent to parents. The
sessions were for six Thursdays.
•Letter writing was given as home assignment as per Mount Literati newsletter on topic
“Write letter to your future selves about “What changed in your life during this
pandemic and how this new normal will see positive outcomes for the global
community,” and do share it with us on the below given email ids theliterati@mountlitera.com

to 8 using Zoom call
Earth day , session was conducted on 23rd April by Butterfly Edufield for grades 3

The CHC will maintain a record of the complaints made and convey it to the concerned authority on the same day.
The CHC will be responsible for taking the feedback and the proper closure from the concerned authority and will convey the same to the parent within 3 days of lodging the complaint.

POSH
The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and
Redressal) Act, 2013 ("POSH Act") was enacted as a comprehensive legislation to
provide a safe, secure and enabling environment, free from sexual harassment to
every woman.
The main objective of the policy is to provide its women employees, a workplace, free from harassment
• We ensure the safety of our employees and have a zero tolerance towards any
mis conduct against this policy.

Almanac (Diary)should be brought to school daily.
Communication should be done only through the Almanac.
Please check the Almanac regularly.
Kindly go through the circulars and remove them and keep them in file for you reference.
Please refer the Almanac for all the activities and the requirement mentioned for the activities
scheduled for the particular month.
No reminders will be sent.
Make sure your child wears the ID card everyday.
Uniform should be neat and clean as well as ironed.
Follow the school timing strictly. Late comers will not be allowed to attend the school that day.
For any queries contact at reception and kindly specify your ward’s name and class and the name of
the person you wish to talk to.
Encourage your ward to participate in all the activities conducted.
No fancy or costly accessories allowed.
Extra outfit to be sent in the school bag regularly(pre-primary section).
Please submit the stationery, notebooks and textbooks with proper labels to the
