SCIENCE EXPLORATORY


SCIENCE EXPLORATORY will help our children to perform well in their school curriculum various competitive exams and projects. This will ignite their curious mind and will make them to ask questions like what how when and why. This will help them to understand basic fundamentals, spark their imaginative, develop rational thinking and build confidence within them.

Parent Teachers Association (PTA) is a non-profit, non-political and non-sectarian organisation made up of school staff and parents which work tosupport the school in a wide variety of ways.

The function of PTA is not only to help/support the School in thedevelopment of students but also to provide help/support in theimprovement and development of the School.

ABOUT PTA :


To provide the platform for parents, guardians, and teachers of studentsof MLZS Wakad to meet, exchange, deeply analyze issues, makerecommendations and effectively pursue the implementation ofdecisions on matters affecting education / learning in MLZS Wakad withappropriate agencies.

To foster mutual understanding, harmonious relationship andcooperation among parents, guardians, and teachers in the fulfillment oftheir common aim, the welfare of the school and the pupils/studentstherein.

PTA OBJECTIVES :


Membership of the association shall be open to:

Parents / guardians whose children or wards attend school in MLZSWakad, such participation shall be non-political and non-religious.

Any person who is a member of the teaching staff of MLZS Wakad.

PTA MEMBERSHIP :


The school shall select the Chairman, Secretary and Teacherrepresentatives of the PTA. Vice Chairman can be nominated from theelected representatives. Principal is the ex- officio Secretary by herrole and position.

The Executive Committee shall be elected by lottery system method ifmore than one parent representative volunteers from each level. Onerepresentative for each level – class Nursery to Standard VI shall beelected . The election will be held at Annual General Meeting and shallhold office for one year.

The Previous Executive Committee shall select two lead parentrepresentatives in the Council to remain on the post for the new year.

A list of parents per Class level who stand for the elections, shall becompiled and kept for future use, in case of a resignation ortermination of an elected parent.

ELECTION PROCESS :


Any vacancy occurring in the executive committee of the association beforeanother election may be filled by a special meeting provided that thechairman on the advice of the executive members may appoint any memberto fill such a vacant post until a substantive holder is elected.

Parents will be notified via circular of elected members of the GoverningCouncil for the PTA. Contact details and circular will be posted on the MLZSWakad website under PTA section.
