+Christmas Coloring Sheets

On the following slides, there will be Christmas coloring sheets. Please select the ones that you want and put them into your student folders.

+Once you have the pictures you would like, please open up Fireworks

+Go to File, Click Open, Find one of the pictures you would like to color.

Click the magic wand tool and select the entire background of the image. Click the delete key. We want a transparent background.

+Click on the magic wand again. Hold down the shift key and also click the parts of the picture that you want to be the same color.Once all parts of the picture are selected, click on the fill tool.

+Select the color that you want to fill in the picture or that part of the picture. Once you have the color filled in, please go to Edit, Copy.-In the layers tool, click Add new layer.-Put the lock on Layer 1.-Click on Layer 2 and paste the part you just copied.

+Click the select tool which looks like the pointer. You will now add effects. Click the Filter and click +.

Add inner and outter bevels.

Continue to go through the other filters until you have the picture how you want it.

Once you are done, Lock the 2nd Layer.

Unlock Layer 1.

Click on the magic wand tool.

Click shift and highlight the parts of the picture you want to be the same color.

Repeat steps you did before until entire picture is filled in.

+Final Step

Once each photo is colored in, please go into Fireworks.

Select a background image that you get from the internet.

It must be a holiday background or snow covered background and it has to be a PNG.

Open up the picture in fireworks.

Drag your photos on top of the background.

Lock them in place.
