• Date and duration
o If flexible can include
• Country/cities you planning to visit
o Optional include map with itinerary
o Cross check that every name is valid (by providing a list of countries)
o If different places are visited, then you should put how you plan to travel between the
countries/cities (car/plane/bus/walk …)
we can link with flight search engines, car rentals and other travelling platforms
• Budget
o Put a minimum and maximum
o We should include the possibility for users to convert any amount to chosen currency
• Number of participants, who you looking for?
o Could match people on preferences (profile + trip details) so we can suggest travel buddies to
the members (could really be an added value)
• Brief description
o Impose a minimum description (50-100 words)
• Needed items
o Can link with suppliers to get revenue stream
• We could also propose an itinerary generation process: once the user has entered the
countries/cities , time frame and budget.
o The generated trip would be fully editable (it could be tricky to set up, however it would be a
great added value for our service)
• Add tag words to your trip
o Eg: surfing/australia/backpacking
o Eg: Cycling/Peru
o In this way it will be easier for users to search for trips that match their needs
• Publish your trip
o So it can be searchable for other users
• Should include control feature
o Be able to filter people that join your trip (accept/reject)
o When you publish a trip, people can access a limited version of your profile
(interests, where from, and other basics)
Fully Registered users will have the ability to search trips. The search criteria will allow them to search by
