The church dates back to the twelfth century.

Santa Maria del Lago -Moscufo-

In the past it has been modified several

times, but thanks to recent

renovations…

…now we can say that this church

has been brought back to its original

appearance.

The portal is decorated with symbols of the Evangelists

In the central apse there are some semi-columns

The rear view consists of three apses.

The central apse is decorated with garlands;

Two of the apses have lancet windows surrounded by reliefs.

The interior has a nave and two aisles supported by bays made of bricks.

CAPITALS

We have different types of capitals. The

majority consists of

capitals which have the shape of a chalice and decorated with phytomorphic

designs.
