evening: Pedra do Sal night out, birthplace of samba

morning: visit to Rio´s municipal theatre, inspired om L´opera de Paris

afternoon: time off at Copacabana beach

evening: dress in white and enjoy the world´s biggest nye at Copacabana

Jan 01st - Wednesday

morning: recover from nye at Ipanema beach

afternoon: maracatu workshop an afro-brazilian rhythm

evening: night out at Rio Scenarium, live music and considered by ´The Guardian´ one of the top 10 bars in the world

Jan 02nd - Thursday

morning: visit to cidade do samba: complex of buildings where samba schools prepare prepare for carnival

afternoon: bossa nova tour in ipanema: get to know the places where Vinicius and Tom, among others, were inspired to compose

evening: bossa nova concert at Vinicius bar

Jan 03rd - Friday

morning: transfer in a private bus to Petropolis / city tour

afternoon: visit to meninas cantantes de Petrópolis / visit to `Meninas Cantoras´ a musical group composed exclusively of girls

evening: transfer back to Rio / forró night at Feira de São Cristóvão

Jan 04th - Saturday

morning: visit to Cidade das Artes, home of the Brazilian Symphony Orchestra

afternoon: capoeira workshop

evening: farewell dinner / baile funk

morning: shopping time at the general osório square market

afternoon: transfer to Rio International Airport
