The hills around Impruneta, which begin on the outskirts of Florence, for their attractiveness and

elegance, can be said to be the gateway to Chianti, and continue in the same way all the way to Siena.

Villa la Fonte is a large country residence typical of the old florentine nobility, now partly divided-up,

and emerges in all its power from the olive-groves and vineyards that climb up the hills. It has a separate
