Stone stairs lead past Villa Rosa tucking into the shade of70-year-old tropical trees. The flora of the Mediterraneanclimate is everywhere in abundance; blossom-heavy wisteriavines, cascading bougainvillea, fragrant jasmine and capers,hedges of clipped rosemary and oleander, allees of citrus fruittrees. This is an antique tropical garden of rare beauty andintegral to Treville itself.

Treville's chef works daily with produce from the estate'svegetable gardens spread across the property growingtomatoes, zucchini, sweet corn, green beans and eggplant,together with plenty of basil and other aromatic herbs.
