Then deep excursion to Mekong Delta with a night homestay in garden house and a cruise to explore the hidden canals and unique floating markets of the region. Continue to Phnom Penh by a boat trip crossing the border. Venture to Siem Reap by a short flight; enjoy 3 days exploring the awe-‐inspiring Angkorian temples.

ITINERARY 10 DAYS
Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City -‐ Arrival
At leisure until transfer to Ho Chi Minh City (former Saigon). Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. This afternoon visit the War Remnants or History Museum and walk to visit former Presidential Palace to the major sights of colonial Saigon includes the Old Saigon Post Office, Dong Khoi Street, Continental Hotel, Opera House and City Hall. Overnight in Saigon (B)
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City-‐ Ben Tre
Begin deep excursion to Mekong Delta. Explore waterways and local people life by embarking on a boat trip. Stop to visit local cottage factories where bricks, popcorns coconut candies are made. Return to the boat and begin a sampan ride along small canals, admire the scenery and the daily life of the local villagers. Lunch will be at a local family serving specialties of the area. Then drive to Cho Lach, the land of coconuts. Settle into the homestay “Jardin Du Mekong”. Enjoy a biking tour around the village, back to homestay for a hand -‐ on cooking Vietnamese food. Dinner with the family. Relax with a foot soaking with lemon grass in the garden. Overnight at Jardin Du Mekong (B, L, D).
Day 3: Ben Tre -‐ Cai Be – Tra On
At leisure until take a short boat trip to Cai Be. Board the Le Cochinchine for a delightful Mekong cruise to Can Tho via Tra On. Up to river tide, disembark and make a pleasant walking or biking on the footpaths of the countryside to discover tropical fruit orchards and the local people's activities, especially some orchards (orange grove) with its famer. Cruise to continue to Tra On. Enjoy the magnificent sunset on the river. Dinner and overnight on board (B, L, D)
Day 4: Tra On – Can Tho – Chau Doc
After breakfast, the cruise to continue to Can Tho. Enjoy the magnificent sunrise on the river. Leisurely cruise up the Bassac river while enyoying the beautiful scenery. Arrive Can Tho, a small boat will take you explore the Cai Rang market one of the most bustling floating markets in Mekong Delta with hundreds of small boats barging and jostling for space as owners attempt to sell their goods. And through the palm-‐shaded creek to see local houses and green orchards. Disembark around 10 a.m. at the Ninh Kieu wharf and continue the trip to Chau Doc. In the afternoon visit Sam Mountain, enjoy a panoramic view of Chau Doc and neighboring Cambodia. Then ride on a local cyclo to visit Chinese temples & a local market. Overnight in Chau Doc (B)
Day 5: Chau Doc – Phnom Penh Morning boat cruise from Chau Doc to Phnom Penh. Arrive Phnom Penh at noon, check in the hotel. Afternoon city tour includes the Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda and the National Fine Arts Museum. Overnight in Phnom Penh (B).
Day 6: Phnom Penh – Siem Reap
Morning visit Killing Field before flying to Siem Reap. Arrive at Siem Reap, check in hotel and at leisure. Overnight in Siem Reap (B, L). Day 7: Siem Reap (Ta Phrom and Angkor Wat) Rise early this morning and travel out to the magical temple of Ta Phrom in time for sunrise. Discover the temple which is almost fully engulfed by the jungle. Then continue to Angkor Wat. Explore this incredible site in the early morning light. The rest of the day, visit Tonle Sap Lake, known as the largest fresh water lake in South East Asia. On arrival, take a cruise on Tara River Boat and dinner on board. Overnight in Siem Reap (B, D). Day 8: Siem Reap (Banteay Srey and Angkor Thom) Morning visit Banteay Srey temple, the so-‐called "Citadel of the Women" displays some of the finest examples of classical Khmer art. Then continue to Banteay Samre, another Hindu temple, this time dedicated to Vishnu. After lunch, return to the site later in the day to explore Angkor Thom with the enigmatic Bayon temple, the Terrace of Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King. Overnight in Siem Reap (B) Day 9: Siem Reap (Beng Mealea and Koh Ker Temple) Today, travel to visit lesser -‐ known areas including Beng Meala and Konker Temple. Explore Beng Mealea which was built in the 12th century during the reign of King Suryavarman II, mostly unrestored, with huge blocks of stone lying in piles in its center. Then drive to Koh Ker, the main temple itself (Prasat Thom) standing as a pyramid. Around the Koh Ker site are several more small temples, including some that have been partly swallowed up by tree roots. Afternoon, return to Siem Reap for overnight (B,L) Day 10: Siem Reap -‐ Departure At leisure until transfer to Siem Reap airport for home flight or to other extension (B).
