weebly at www.PlayDressUp.weebly.com, it has been two steps forward and one step back, but I am finally

getting the hand of this web design thing and it makes me very happy!

~Challenges~

RSS Feed Wiki’s

Voki…the “best” part!

• In this class my biggest challenge was just how to incorporate these time-saving, and innovative technologies into my daily life and eventually teaching.• The more practice I get with these things the more I use them and I feel I wouldn’t want to live without them, but it is time consuming. • The RSS Feed has been a challenge to understand and use, I like reading my friend’s blog from there since it doesn’t have as many distractions as her blog page does. I haven’t used it for much else since I am not much of a news reader.• I was challenged with the design aspect of my Wiki, I was unable to put any graphics but I think it is because I did not choose the teacher free option.• Voki did not quite work the way I wanted it to and then I ended up deleting my project accidentally, this seems to happen quite frequently while learning new programs. It looks like a fun tool and I hope to get over this challenge.

Moodle & Online LearningPositives:• easy to use• excellent sharing capacity• great access to online learning tools• awesome flexibility for continuing education students

Improvements may include:• better use of online calendar or class deadlines• fixing broken or missing links

Thanks to Rich Kiker and the Bucks County Intermediate Unit for teaching and offering such a great class! It was an awesome learning experience!
