Great.
There’s plenty of data out there.
But does figuring out your optimal posting time really matter?
It depends on what you do with it.
If you’re asking because you’re only planning to send one post per day and you’re looking for that perfect moment?
Prepare to be disappointed.

What’s the best time of day to post social media?
If we only have so many posts each day, we need to make sure we maximize the ROI of each post we share.
This is a fallacy.
Your resources for posting aren’t actually that limited.
Sure, some times are better than others.
But a lot of times will work.
Don’t use optimal times to build an “Or” Social Media Strategy:
“I can post now or I can post at 4 pm.”
Do use optimal times to build an “And” Social Media Strategy:
“I can post now and I can post at 4 pm.”
(So long as I have something relevant to share, of course.)
Remember:
Don’t focus on rates at the expense of aggregates.
The math isn’t:
Post at 1 pm = 100 clicks
OR
Post at 5 pm = 75 clicks
OR
Post at 10 pm = 50 clicks
= Max of 100 clicks
The math should be:
Post at 1 pm = 100 clicks
+
Post at 5 pm = 75 clicks
+
Post at 10 pm = 50 clicks
= 225 clicks
What should you use your optimal times for?
Important announcements
Bottom-of-the-funnel/ calls to action
Brand new owned content
Remember:
Just because there’s an optimal time to post, it doesn’t mean that other times don’t work as well.
Provided you have something interesting and relevant to share.
And Rallyverse can help with
that .
