History•Weapon’s Licensing Branch of Faridabad has

data of Licensees since 1989. •The problems the department faced were:-oApplication procedure entirely on paper.oDifficult to manage for Police personnel and

applicants.oAllotment of application number, renewal

number, license number was difficult.oNo facility to easily reply to RTI

applications.

Features•Makes work easier and paperless.•Automated Application number, Renewal

Number, License Number generation.•Easy reporting facility based on type of

queries. •Alert facility to remind about defaulters.•Backup and restoring of data at the click

of a button.

Plan of action undertaken•To get the most important forms working

first.•Correct errors immediately.•Optimize forms for best performance.•Generate reports as per RTI norms.•Meet increasing Customer requirement.•Handle errors caused by environment

based factors and human errors.

maintenance and improvement.
