how my skills have progressed from the prelim task to the main task

Task 7

Skills Ive developed. Since starting media and my print prelim task I have gained alot of knowledge in using new software like Photoshop , Indesign and prezi. This software has allowed me to make my products much better because I have learned how to use alot of new features and tools. Ive also gained experience in using camera’s and white walls and become alot better in taking photo’s. I learn alot about planning my idea’s and turning them into real products.

Ive learnt alot about the magazine industry and used that knowledge in developing my products. I did alot of research into other products in the industry and looked at how they appeal to their audience and how they are distributed.

Since starting , I learnt alot about real products and how they are made and applied it to mine. My finished product resembled a real magazine and thatswhat I was going for. It was inline with real products.

How my skills have improved

Ive become better developing images to put in my magazine like removing the background of the model and altering brightness and contrast. Ive also become better at choosing appropriate fonts and sizes that make it look more like a real product. Ive also learnt how to make shapes and outline images and this has allowed me to make the music magazine more authentic.
