PROGRAMS USED

KNEW MEDIA TECHNOLOGIES USED!• Well throughout this project the internet has played a massive part in how we created our video

and also promoted it. We used a variety of different programs including Facebook, YouTube, Blogger, Prezi and Twitter, also including many more.

Social Networking Programs!Facebook, Twitter, YouTubeWithin the production of our music video was used such social networks as Facebook and twitter to promote our film and ask different social groups to share the film. We also used Facebook to not only promote our video but also our advertisements and digi packs, we used Facebook and twitter as a chance to get some interesting feedback so we could make changes down the line to what draws the audience in.

Blogger, Prezi, ScribdWe used these programs for mostly document our progress onto blogger, this is used to keep all our work together but also to show progression throughout the course. Blogger was a way for us to show off all our portfolio work including all our pre production and final edited clips. These networks all almost created a following for our blogs because I could post a link then people who follow can follow along with our process, in away a fan base was created. The internet helped in most of our research as well because it meant that we could have a variety of different classes and age groups could easily access the video. We used survey monkey to get audience feedback which had a link on my Facebook that brought you right to the survey. Then after the survey was done we would connect all the feedback and make our changes.

FINAL CUT PRO/ PHOTOSHOPFinal Cut Pro• To edit our music video and research interviews we

used the professional software of Final Cut Pro. We found that final cut pro was the right software for us because there are so many different effects you can add such as exposure and a large variety of sound choices. Final Cut Pro wasn’t only very interesting to use but also simple to pick up, I found editing hard at the beginning of the course but after tutorial sessions I soon picked It up and was able to start getting creative on what I could do. We decided on this program over Vegas and IMovie mostly because the final outcome looks a lot more professional to work with.

Photoshop:Also with the editing process we used Photoshop to create our advertisements and album covers. The reason we used Photoshop was mostly because I had recently purchased it so I thought it would be a good idea to learn to use it as Photoshop creates some very professional pieces . As a group we progressed through the process of Photoshop by going along to a tutorial which opened our eyes to different adjustments and effects to make our film release that little bit more interesting.

CANON 600D/ IPHONE 5

• Canon 600D

• Whilst filming our music video we primarily used a Canon 600D to create our film. This was a very professional camera as it was so clear and quite easy to use. We decided we would go with this particular model because it could take some great pictures for behind the scenes but most importantly the filming was so clear and bright, we wanted our film to look as close to a professional music video as possible and I personally think we accomplished this with the Canon 600D. The Canon holds 1080p full HD recording with full manual control over exposure to gain as much light as we can, with all these features included this was a great choice for the filming of Invaders Must Die.

IPhone 5We also used a iPhone 5 for its camera capabilities to picture our behind the scenes features, The notes section to note down knew ideas and reminders within the process of filming and also the video recorder to record interviews and maybe another camera for another angle.
