What needs to be done?
EU GOVERNMENTS EU RE&EE INDUSTRY
1. Stronger focus on RE in cooperation development, AID and technological cooperation programmes.
1. Be more pro-active. Focus on one country-one market, seize the opportunities and build upon success to other markets and countries.
2. Emphasis on the socio-economic benefits of RE Technologies compared to fossils.
2. Make use of local research and implementing partners.
3. Support focal points for renewable energy development in EDCs, combining investors, technology providers and research and knowledge organisations.
3. Include implementation activities and costs in first project set-up.
