European Cathedrals of the Sea: Cultural tourism strategies for industrial landscapes

The exhibition dedicated to industrial heritage between land and sea has visited nine European countries, from the archipelago of Turku (above) to the lagoon of Venice, from the Danube delta to the Bay of Hyeres, from the Gulf of Thessaloniki to Barcelona to Viana do Castelo
The Project on Ecomuseums generated two Italian disseminations: one concerns a guide to the disused industrial heritage on the Italian coast
I edited the volume on the "cathedrals of the sea", as they call this former chemical plant Fim in Porto Sant 'Elpidio, with the contribute of thirty six colleagues

The book was followed by the cultural cabotage Cathedrals of the Sea,promoted by Venti di Cultura, 2007/9
Where local administrations are involved at conferences, from Iglesias at Gaeta, to Taranto from Syracuse, from Macerata, to Venice

With the directors I've edited the guide to the museums of material culture, environment and production, from San Donà to Chioggia, from Stra to Mira, from Valle Averto to Pellestrina, from the Arsenal to Murano and Burano
