Ban Chiang Archeological Site

1966: Discovery of Ban Chiang

Son of a United States official tripped over the root of a tree and fell

He saw pottery pieces sticking out from the ground

This led archeologists to Ban Chiang

•1970s, bronze spear-points and iron bangles found there
