OnTrackDESCRIPTION

OnTrack application is a tool used to track current user position on map. It is designed to run on ordinary mobile phones and smartphones based on Symbian. The main feature of this software system is that user can know their position on device which doesn’t have integrated GPS receiver. To reach that goal application sends a request using SMS to the tracker device and receives response SMS with geo coordinates and other data. Then it displays the map and the markers on it using Google Maps. Symbian version of application extends application capabilities in terms of access to various tracker devices. Application also has some additional features like read from SMS inbox, registration screen, etc.

Agnihotra for Windows MobileDESCRIPTION

This is the software for vedic followers, who practice Agnihotra ritual. It is used to show Agnihotra times, time to next Agnihotra. The software runs in the Today screen and reminds user in certain amount of time before Agnihtora with a little popup. The software uses the ACS Atlas data to work out your longitude and latitude (or custom) and calculates the sunrise and sunset times accordingly. If you hover over the icon in the System tray it tells you the timings for today's Agnihtora. There is a mode where the program can chant the mantras with user and give visual instructions (trainer-wheel mode) until user has learnt the correct pronunciation etc. This makes it very easy to learn to do Agnihotra The program uses an Ephemersis for the sunrise/sunset timings. The software has very simple user interface, nicely graphical and follows the Windows Mobile standards for such applications. It also can sync the clock with Internet time servers and print calendar.
