Outcomes of DM2E

1. Digital Data Aggregation– Substantial enrichment of Europeana with contextualised

metadata of prominent digitised manuscripts2. Interoperability Infrastructure

– Provision of a flexible, scalable and configurable open source production environment for data migration and enrichment with EDM / DM2E as target format

3. Digital Humanities Applications– Provision of specialised Digital Humanities applications that can

showcase the usefulness of DM2E / Europeana data for this specific community

4. Community Building– To foster a community of content holders, Digital Humanists, IT

specialists, open data evangelists and other users around Europeana
