Our students are avid technology users who would like to see more technology in the classroom. Families want to see their children learn how to be smart, savvy and safe technology users. THE KIDS ARE PUMPED UP PARENTS ARE ON BOARD, TOO 92% would like to use more technology in the classroom. 96% believe technology increases student engagement in learning. 89% believe education technology improves student outcomes. 40% use a full-size or small tablet regularly. 87% would like to use digital instead of print textbooks. 92% believe that mobile devices will change the way students learn in the future. 32% say schools should require tech devices in the classroom. 52% say schools should make more use of tech devices in the classroom. 71% say tech opens up learning opportunities to kids who previously didn’t have them. LAPTOPS | A 2011 study found that students preferred to switch between various reading sources when they were researching, and for that reason, preferred laptops. TABLETS | Tablets make it easy to record sound, capture a lecture, record video, and record writing. TABLETS | Tablets are able to run educational apps that laptops can not. There are currently 20,000 education apps available for iPad, many of which are also available in Google Play.
