HOW CAN ORGANIZATIONS, EDUCATION INSTITUTES, AND NON-PROFIT COMPANIES USE DIGG?

Site has been “themed” by companies. Recently, Stride Gum purchased to theme digg.com. The site was

completely rebranded and was filled with stride advertisements. Companies should take advantage of these opportunities from this site, especially because of it’s high search ranking.

Non-profit companies and education institutes can also use digg as a wonderful PR tool. Many benefits can be promoted through the site ad space or a sponsored post

Digg is based off of voting, benefits can be highly ranked on the site if they have a lot of diggs. Awareness Sharing Good Press

Digg.com offers many useful features that anyone can access. Personal news feeds on the site are customizable and sharing a story

couldn’t be any easier. Digg Bar download

The digg bar essentially is a toolbar added to your Internet browser. A user can click “digg this” and the opened page is instantly shared on the website.

CONSTANTLY UPDATING…

The site is constantly updating and adding new features daily.

In August 2010 Digg updated to version 4. The site was unstable, but added many new

features (such as, bury, favorites, friends submissions, upcoming pages, subcategories, and history search). The site was soon changed back to version 3, but Kevin Rose promised that he would fix the problem. The site was soon changed back to the original version 3 interface, but included some of the new features. It is interesting to see what the site continues to offer it’s users to help improve our experience on the website.
