Title-

I used the same title as what I used on the front cover because I think that the magazine should have continuity between the front cover, contents page and double page spread. How I got the same title was by going onto the front cover, selecting the layer on the side that was of the title. Then I right clicked it and a bar selection comes up, I scrolled to the top a chose duplicate layer. This creates another one of the title which I can then grab and move onto my contents page, making it the exact same as the front cover title.

Listings-

To create the listings for the contents page I had to use the text box tool a lot. The reason I had to use it a lot rather than just once was so that the placing was right. First thing I used the text box for was the listings after I had done all of them I moved on to the description underneath the listings. I wanted these to look different to the listing so I put them in blue boxes, this also links to the front page cover lines. Once both listings and descriptions were done I then added in the page numbers, I used text box for this to. Also I wanted the listings and page numbers to link to my flat plan so that it made sense. After everything had been set I then changed the colour because it is important to have a house colour in a magazine.

Images-

To get the images for the contents page I had to upload them onto my computer. After I had done this I would go up to file then chose open. This opens all of my files, I could then go through and pick out the images which I wanted. Once I had chosen one it would appear on the screen in its own box. To give a bit of individuality into each image I would press image at the top of the screen then adjustments, from the selection that comes up I went onto levels, this changes the lighting of the photo so that you can see every detail more. After I went onto curves and this changes how the image looks by making darker edges on parts that it would look nice.

After editing the photos I only had to drag them onto the page and place them into the spaces that I liked. I just grabbed the image a dragged it onto the page. Once this was done I did have to add in page numbers onto the images so that they are linked with an article and page number. I just used text box to do this.

Editors word-

For the editors word I made a black box using the rectangle shape tool from the tool bar. I then used the text box tool to write inside. I tried to make the writing sound serious and professional but excited as it is the first article. I think that I came across as this. I used formal but simple language to attract my audience and make them feel welcome.
