the fjord of malmö

in case of a rise of sea level with two meters, the wetland park will together with the existing canals establish a fjord in malmö

the fjord will ease the pressure on land with better water flow, and the wetland will work as a storage and drainage for the water

the inlet area is reinforced with granite stones to avoid erosion

at the deepest point, the sediments from the water will gather, and it should be removed every fifth year
