Suitable For AllThe ‘U’ film rating indicates that anyone can watch the film as it’s ‘suitable for all ages’. This is because the film wont include anything that will influence indecent behaviour, such as foul language, which is important for when young kids are watching films as they are easily influenced and act upon what's taught/learnt. The film wouldn’t also contain anything that a kid may feel sensitive about such as bullying or racism.

Also the difference between ‘12A’ and ‘12’ is that you can buy /rent the film if your 12+ where as you cannot buy/rent the film if your watching a 12A and younger than 12. The ‘12’ rating is a little less child-friendly then ‘12A’ ratings therefore may include more foul language, more in-sensitive scenes and sometimes, little/discreet sexual scenes/references.
