BBFC• British Board of Film Classification

• BBFC: is a company in the UK which decides the ratings on the films being released in the UK.

• Why are ratings important?

• Ratings are important because they decide who gets to watch which movie, this is important as to what is suitable for each age rating, nudity is not suitable for U,PG,12, which is why the certificate rating was made. Inappropriate things in films are hidden from children such as detailed killings and swearing.
