RESEARCH PROJECT OBJECTIVE

◆ The research project aims to utilize ICT as an e-learning tool for engaging teachers’ andstudents’ interaction in Araling Panlipunan.


◇ Online-based and mobile responsive learningincluding assessment tool

◇ EPS’ creation and management of centralizedlessons

◇ Integrate the different learning materials andassessment

◇ Evaluate system’s performance

METHODOLOGY

◆ A series of surveys and interviews with the ICThead, AP Department Heads, Master Teachers andDistrict Supervisor

◆ A set of questionnaires was created for Grades 5and 6 mentors

◆ Gathered relevant literature and studies in libraries,online research engines and journals

◆ Brainstorming (plan and design a prototype)

◆ Employs Rapid Application Development (RAD) withUSE Case Methodology

◆ Performed an Alpha and Beta Testing◆ Frequency, Weighted Mean and Likert Scale of 1 to 4;

4 being the highest and 1 as the lowest◆ ISO 9126 Evaluation Model

RECOMMENDATION

◆ The implementation of the developed systemwill empower the teachers and students tobecome more confident and competent in theuse of technologies, shared resources, andcollaborative learning.

◆ The Philippine Government - Department ofEducation need to prioritize in advancing thepublic learning institution facilities.


IMPLICATION
