Kinguin integrated Fortumo’s cross-platform payment method as one of the alternative purchasing methods in their marketplace. This enabled Kinguin’s users who do not own a bank card or prefer not to pay with it online (e.g. security or privacy reasons) to make online payments.

Integration with Fortumo gave Kinguin the opportunity to collect payments across more than 90 countries from subscribers of over 350 mobile operators. For the pilot phase, Kinguin is using carrier billing through Fortumo in 20 countries and the countries with the biggest revenue gains coming from Germany, Philippines, Norway, Denmark and Sweden.
