DESCRIPTION
This is a presentation given by Amit Goel, Founder & CEO, Patterbuzz at Open Source India 2014 conference in Bangalore. . He spoke about the story of Patterbuzz and its journey of 2 years since its beginning to explain the product development with the pace of a start up. It covered all the necessary evils and building the technology form scratch using open source softwares and available technologies and how to leverage its advantage. Patterbuzz builds on the core philosophy of unbundling content from the publishing industry and making it available to consumers in a device reading friendly format with pay as you go model. For example: users can buy single articles if they like rather than purchasing the complete magazine. Currently, Patterbuzz enables magazines from India / Indian publishing industry. Most popular magazines available are Popular Science, Mother & Baby, Electronics for you, open source for you, computer active, Gfiles, Power Politics, Hard News, Car India, Bike India etc...
