About LINA

LINA is an independent  nonprofit organization with a positive perspective to a sustainable world.

LINA is created in 2010 by an associative group of actors, based in Kenitra, Morocco.

LINA targets the local residents in Morocco, especially the isolated groups; the unskilled youth and disabled people.

Project 1 - Used Cooking Oil as pilot project in Kenitra & Larache

Used cooking oil collection is LINA’s first big pilot project undertaken to:

Save the environment in Morocco

Preserve natural resourses

Prevent health problems

LINA collects used oil because improper disposal of this oil has the following impacts:

It hurts the environment

It kills terrestrial and aquatic plant and animal life

It causes drains and sewers blockage

Project 2 - Contribute to Waste Management

LINA works together with local authorities in Morocco to find optimal solutions to

waste overload in cities such as Rabat, Mohamedia and Tetouan.

LINA works hard with local authorities to raise people’s awarness about environment.

LINA achieves this through:

Creating environmental-friendly jobs

Promoting environmentally responsible practices
