The transformation of the urban ring road M-30 into an underground highway, has been the largest operation in the Madrid environmental rebalancing recent history

This project has allowed to reduce about 35,000 tons of CO2 emissions

We have won more than 3,200,000 sq. meters of green areas, where more than 26,000 trees will be planted

The technology and investment are being applied to the sustainable management of waste and water

Madrid recycle 100% of its waste water, 500 million cubic meters which are returned to the river

Madrid has succeeded reducing by 50% of the organic matter disposable. We are about to build one of the first biomethanol plants of Europe
