DESCRIPTION This project “AUTOMATIC IRRIGATION SYSTEM” contains 8-bit microcontroller P89V51RD2, RELAY, alphanumeric LCD, ALARAM, water sensor and power supply. Here first it will check for the level in the tank, if level in the tank is low, it will display the tank is empty fill the tank and ALARAM will make sound. Once tank is filled it will check for WATER sensor output, if it is high means no need of water, if it is low means water is needed then motor will be switched on till WATER sensor has to give high output.Once WATER sensor got high output motor will be switched off. AUTOMATIC IRRIGATION SYSTEM

INTRODUCTION

In this fast growing electronic world any work or any operation can be done

by sitting in a remote place. No need to go near work place. In this project

irrigation can done by automatically.

DESCRIPTION

This project “AUTOMATIC IRRIGATION SYSTEM” contains 8-bit

microcontroller P89V51RD2, RELAY, alphanumeric LCD, ALARAM, water

sensor and power supply. Here first it will check for the level in the tank, if level

in the tank is low, it will display the tank is empty fill the tank and ALARAM will

make sound. Once tank is filled it will check for WATER sensor output, if it is

high means no need of water, if it is low means water is needed then motor will be

switched on till WATER sensor has to give high output.Once WATER sensor got

high output motor will be switched off.

8051 architecture based P89V51RD2 microcontroller from NxP is used to

implement this project. Microcontroller acts as the heart of the project, which

controls the whole system. It contains 1k RAM, 64k Flash, 3 Timers, 2 external

interrupts, 1 UART, 32 GPIO’s, ISP programming support etc. KEIL IDE is used

to program the microcontroller and the coding will be done using Embedded C.
