SWING DocPublisher is an out-of-the-box document publishing solution which lets organizations easily manage and publish internal documentation online.

It was specifically designed for the following types of documentation:

DocPublisher tightly integrates with Microsoft Word, allowing business users to create and update web content with their familiar authoring tool.

In additon to MS Word, documents can also be created by using an integrated browser-based visual editor.

Once the documents are published, users can easily find information using only web browsers on any platform.

They navigate through the DocPublisher library in a familiar way - with a tree-view table of contents, search, and cross-referenced topics.

3. User roles and workflow

There are 3 types of users in DocPublisher:

1. Advanced UsersThese include document authors, document owners, reviewers, approvers, content managers and administrators.

2. Named ReadersThese include Read-only users who can log into the application (free of charge).

3. Sign-off ReadersSame as Named Readers, except these users also have ability to sign off on documents (additional charges apply).

• The publishing workflow can be easily customized to conform to any specific process.

• DocPublisher provides notifications, RSS feeds, regular review reminders, and document expirations.

• It is easy to add custom fields, document properties, categories and views to organize documentation.

• In addition, it is possible to collect reader signoffs on documents, in order to ensure policy awareness and compliance.
