INTRODUCING… www.whatcanieat.com.au A Unique Online Resource to Partner Unique Products to Consumers For Suppliers Only A recent sales campaign highlights the constant fight of manufacturers to obtain premium shelf space in the supermarkets for their products. With over 10,000 new products annually being introduced into the market place, suppliers are forced to find new mediums for reaching their target market. To help suppliers beat the costs of conventional marketing, www.whatcanieat.com.au aims to bridge the gap between suppliers and consumers for a very affordable price. Suppliers are telling us they want increased: Exposure, Exposure, Exposure! Sales, sales, More Sales! website Traffic, Traffic, Traffic! Everyone has heard "it's the greatest thing since sliced bread," but few people realize that ‘sliced bread’ was invented years prior to it becoming a success. Matter of fact, the inventor, Otto Rohwedder is all but lost to history. It just proves that having a good product doesn’t necessarily make it a success. It was the Wonder Bread company that made the innovation such a success due to clever marketing, exposure and availability.

WHAT DOES THIS WEBSITE DO? When a person discovers they have a food allergy or intolerance or dietary restrictions they are told what they CANNOT eat. It can be a daunting, often frustrating exercise to have to relearn what foods are allowed and what foods must be avoided. With so many products on the market, it can take months to read all the labels to ensure it is safe to eat. www.whatcanieat.com.au informs them what they CAN eat. It is a FREE service for consumers allowing them to select their unique need ie wheat free, gluten free, sugar free. Then they can select the type of food they are looking for ie snacks, bread etc. The search engine will then search and locate products that match their selections and display a variety of products. They are then able to learn more about that product, where it can be found and the website of the company that manufactures or supplies the product. The Whatcanieat.com.au website is designed to connect consumers and suppliers together quickly and easily, creating a win-win relationship for both parties.

It’s a brilliant concept. We met the team from What Can I Eat at the Melbourne Gluten Free show in 08 and took a look at the website and thought it looked great. We put one of our products on there as a trial, monitored the referrals and have found that the traffic to our website has increased.
