WAIKATO STADIUM CASE STUDY

Project Title: Rugby Park Redevelopment Client: Hamilton City Council

Waikato Regional Sports and Events Centre Trust Project Description ISFM worked together with the Waikato Regional Sports & Event Centre Trust and Hamilton City Council in the redevelopment of Rugby Park. The works commissioned aimed to create an international standard facility accommodating up to 27,500 patrons for Super 14, Provincial and Test Match Rugby Union as well as establishing a home for the Waikato Chiefs Super 14 Rugby Union franchise. ISFM initially undertook the development of a masterplan for the site including a financial feasibility which was used to raise capital funding for the project. Following the successful acquisition of funding, ISFM proceeded with the management of the design through to completion. In addition ISFM undertook the development of an operational plan for the long-term management of the park.
