Who is this boy?Anthony Frank "Tony" Hawk was born May 12, 1968 in California. He is an American professional skateboarder. On July 27, 1999, Hawk was the first skater to land a "900", a trick involving the completion of two-and-a-half mid-air revolutions on a skateboard. His parents supported his skateboarding because it served as an outlet for his excessive energy, and as Hawk's skills developed, he became a professional skateboarder. Also Tony has got his own video game series about skateboarding.

In 90s Tony created a skateboard company which is called “BIRDHOUSE”

How it all began?

I have always been in obsession with video games. And once upon a time I was spending time in my friend’s house playing different sport video games. There was a Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater. And I was completely fell in love with this game so I decided to find out who is Tony and what is skateboarding. From that day I couldn’t talk about anything except different tricks, new board decks and skateboard competitions. I stated watching different tutorials about skateboarding in slow motion and tried to repeat some of them on my friend’s board. And I also started saving up some money to by my own deck.

And finally in age 13 my father bought a little plastic cruiser board for me. It was bright pink Penny. I was so exited and happy that now I can do all these “Olli” and many different tricks just like Tony. This man inspired me and…help to start my own skateboard story. Thank you Tony.
