Tennishasmadegreatstepsthroughthefewpastyearsnationally,regionallyand

internationallywhetherinteamsorplayers,couchesandreferees.Theyachieved

remarkableachievementsaccordingtotheplansmadebytheadministrationofthe

federationwhichtooktwodirections:

Linear:Thefederationmadegreateffortsandcooperationwiththeministryof

educationtoincreasethenumberofplayersandpeopleinterestedintennisin

schoolsandwealsomadegoodcooperationwiththeministryofHighereducation

andscientificresearchtoincreasethenumberofpeopleplayingtennis.Wehave

madetennisgameanimportantpartinthelessonofphysicaleducationcurriculum

inschoolswiththecooperationwiththeministryofeducation.Thatwasalsodone

tomotivateandincreasetheparticipantsintheIraqinationaltournamentleaguein

allagegroupsassupportingplayersandcoaches

Havinggreatstepsofcooperationwiththeministryofyouthtoopensixnewtennis

specialisedcentresindifferentpartsofIraq.

2-Vertical:thismeansthedevelopmentlevelsofallthosewhoareconcerned

abouttennis:administration,officiating,coachingandplayingtennis.

Asfortheadministration:TheIraqitennisfederationdidthebesttoparticipatein

theITFAGMandATFAGMandtheadministrationworkshopoftheATFinThailand.

Concerningtheofficiating:holdingNationalofficiatingschoolwiththesupervision

andcooperationoftheITFinIraqBaghdad5-7April2016.

Asforcoaching:ThereweretwoimportantcoursesrecentlydoneinIraq.Thefirst

wasLEVELONE coaching courseheld in ERBILwith thecooperation and

supervisionoftheITF.ThesecondistheJTIschoolheldKARBALAAwiththe

cooperationandsupervisionoftheITF.

Finally,fortheplayers,inadditiontoofferthesupportinallaspectsfinancial,

scientificandexperience,thefederationparticipatedintheJTIprogramoftheITF.

Ourfederation also motivate the Iraqiplayers to participate in allthe

competitionsandtournamentswhethernational,regional,orinternational.

AsiantoursWestandCentralAsiatourDavisCup,fedcupandJuniorWorldcupu

14&u16andinallagegroups.
