Situation Weather:
The event will be held in late spring.
The climate in Bratislava is usually wet in May, but pleasant in that locality in this period.
The high seasonal norm is 21°C. The seasonal minimum is 13°C.
Thus, the mean temperature average in may in Bratislava is 17°C.
History:
It is the capital of Slovakia, and with a population of about 450,000, the country's largest
city. Bratislava is situated in south-western Slovakia, within the Bratislava Region.
Bratislava straddles the Danube River, which it had developed around and for centuries was
the chief transportation route to other areas.
Owing to its historical multi-cultural character, local culture is influenced by various ethnic
and religious groups, including Germans, Slovaks, Hungarians, and Jews.
Bratislava enjoys numerous theatres, museums, galleries, concert halls, cinemas, film clubs,
and foreign cultural institutions.
Various sports and sports teams have a long tradition in Bratislava, with many teams and
individuals competing in Slovak and international leagues and competitions.

The Organizing Committee has experience with the Slovakian Open for 17 times.
The Slovak Table Tennis Association has organized for example the European Youth
Championships and the ITTF World Junior Championships, and also supported the PTT
Slovakia Open time to time from the technical perspective.
