Gender Discrimination in Sports• Woman Athletes are getting less salary/prize money

compared to Men in every sports• Founder of the modern Olympics, Baron Pierre de

Coubertin, said in 1896, “No matter how toughened a sportswoman may be, her organism is not cut out to sustain certain shocks.” 

• Wimbledon just started giving equal prize money to women in 2015

• Sexual exploitation against women athletes is rising• Women are out of streets, playgrounds and social clubs• Incidence of lifestyle diseases increasing among women

due to lack of physical activity

PROVOCATION

• The Heraen games was a women's sports event founded by Queen Hippodameia. The Heraea were conducted, originally every three years and later on every five years, from the end of June to the beginning of July. The ancient Heraean Games, dedicated to the goddess Hera

INSPIRATION

Her Games is a week-long international sports tournament exclusively for women, which will held in Ernakulam in

August 2017. (Aug 14-18)Now women are totally out of our playgrounds. Sports is

entertainment, empowerment, endurance and employment. HER GAMES aims to bring back our women

to playgrounds for improving their lives in every aspect. More women to sports means less spending for health. Her

Games will give her FREEDOM TO PLAY.All are open to participate. Companies, organizations and

clubs can send their women teams for the tournament. The curtain raiser tournament will be conducted on 2016

August 14 & 15 in Ernakulam.

Normally, men even boys are reluctant to play these games by labelling it as ‘Girls’ Game. We want to show the world want a

Girl can do.

The curtain raiser tournament date: August 14, 2016Proposed Venue: ERNAKULAM, KERALA

 All the companies/offices will be contacted for the tournament.

Maximum media coverage will be ensured.

THE CURTAIN RAISER

• Promotion Events will conducted from August 2016 to August 2017

• It will include HOPSCOTCH TOURNAMENT for school students (girls & boys). The objective is to help our boys to understand that girls are equal and have rights to play and enjoy their lives.

• Corporate Women Tournaments (Hopscotch, Badminton, Carrom etx) to promote sports and networking events among woman employees and promote their rights to play and networking for better career prospects

• This activities will cover all major cities of India in one year
