¨2. We are a committed team of African Body Builders ¨ The A Team comprises of a group of body builders who have competed in local & prestigious shows such as the Gauteng Provincials & South African Championships ¨ Over the last few years our athletes have proven themselves by being the top in their categories leading to qualifying to compete abroad ¨ The A Team seeks to promote body building in townships and under-resourced areas where the sport is unexplored and little known

¨3. Minister of Sport, Mr Fikile Mbalula, is in the process of bringing all sporting codes on par ¨ Minister Mbalula has highlighted the importance of sports in the development & integration of cohesive communities ¨ Body Building remains largely neglected, however, it has many benefits insofar as it can contribute in addressing social concerns prevalent in under-resourced areas such as substance abuse, by promoting alternate & healthy living ¨ The A Team finds an opportunity to build & integrate communities in Soweto through the use of the Petrus Molefe Development Park by hosting an annual body building event for male & female athletes in the various categories

¨4. The A Team proposes that this grand event the Harry classic be hosted annually as a ¨ The purpose of the show is to contribute in the campaign to take our boys & girls off the streets & encourage them to participate in this sporting event thereby exposing them to alternative activities ¨ The A team believes that the event will bring about an atmosphere of unity & harmony through sport & encourage the youth to stay away from substance abuse

5 HARRY CLASSIC BB SHOW ¨6. To create a sustainable health programme for the athletes to train so as to compete in

the annual body building event ¨ To identify athletes for participation in the event & compete with athletes in their respective communities ¨ To create a platform for recognition by awarding athletes in their respective categories ¨ To encourage young men & woman to partake in building healthy & active communities ¨ To contribute to the reduction in substance abuse by exposing community members to alternative & positive healthy living

¨7. The annual fitness competition will be managed by the A Team ¨ The event is open to all men & woman who are interested to compete in the respective categories ¨ Categories will include: Body building line up (male¡ & female) Model search (male¡ & female) Fitness models¡ Power Lifting¡ Hunk of Soweto Search¡

¨8. The A Team invites & welcomes any organizations in sponsoring the event ¨ Sponsorship towards funding the event includes but is not limited to: Various prizes per category¡ Trophies¡ & hampers Cash prizes for the top 3 winners per category¡ Event promotion¡ Overall event organization¡ & planning A detailed budget is available upon request¡ good

R75000 VISUAL DISPLAY Principal Sponsor logos or company names will appear in official festival collateral & advertising where available and / or appropriate EVENT SPONSORSHIP Principal sponsors will receive recognition through targeted & exclusive association with specific events (categories) FESTIVAL ACCESS Principal sponsor receives tickets & passes to the event MERCHANDISING & PROMOTIONS Principal sponsors can initiate promotions throughout the show with on-site product demonstrations, merchandising & sampling Gift bags, Giveaways, Drawings, Exhibition, Radio Advertising & Product sampling

Media Coverage The event will be promoted on various radio stations as well as¡ leverage Soweto TV to flight the event Print media coverage will include The Sowetan to cover the¡ event & promote sponsors Sponsor Image Enhancement Corporate sponsors will enjoy exposure through encouraging¡ sports in the communities & enhance their “We Care” brands in participating communities Corporate Social Investment Corporate sponsors will further their CSI objectives back to the¡ community through sport and recreation

The A Team anticipates that the event will large audience from Soweto & surrounding areas ¨ The A Team will use radio, television, print & electronic media to promote the event ¨ The Sowetan has previously covered athlete Absalom Mfumadi & Liza Ncedani and monitored their involvement in body building –the event will allow for continuation & vested interest to follow the developments of these athletes ¨ The A Team intends on using social media platforms such as twitter, Facebook & other to create fan pages & followers with regular updates on the event & sponsors

¨17. ¨ ¨ ¨ The A team is actively involved in promoting and assisting all athletes from various walks of life. Claude presented the WPFSA at the National SAPS Sports Awards held in Pretoria at the Police Academy. It was an honour to meet with the National Commissioner of SAPS, the Deputy and other major heads within SAPS The A team takes pride in feeding and providing clothing for the needy and destitute Members of the A Team donated Christmas gifts for the under privileged children The A Team is excited in creating body building awareness campaigns in under developed areas like the recently held Petrus Molefe Annual Body Building Show held in Soweto

¨22. By exposing communities to a fairly unknown sport such as body building there is an opportunity to attract new audiences as well as participants as they learn about the sport as more than just entertainment but as a feasible alternative ¨ The event is set to be an annual event with long term growth objectives as we believe that a healthy lifestyle is not a once off event but a lifelong decision and investment towards improved health ¨ We as the A team firmly believe that by becoming a body building ambassadors, & in partnership with sponsors, we can drive this initiative to great heights with the aim to integrate communities through sport.
