ROMANS 15:14-17When I think of you, my dear family, I amthoroughly convinced that you are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, and able to instruct one another. Nevertheless, on some points I have written to you rather boldly by way of reminder, because of the grace given me by God to be a minister of King Jesus to the Gentiles in the priestly service of God’s good news, so that the offering of the Gentiles may be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit. This is the confidence I have in King Jesus, and in God’s own presence.

ROMANS 15:18-21For I will not venture to speak of anything except what The Messiah has accomplished through me to win obedience from the Gentiles, by word and deed,in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of the Spirit of God. I have completed announcing the good newsof The Messiah from Jerusalem round as far as Illyricum. My driving ambition has been to announce the good news, not where The Messiah has already been named, so that I do not build on someone else’s foundation. Instead, as The Bible says, “Those who have never been told of Him will hear, and those who have never heard of Him will understand.”

ROMANS 15:22-26This is the reason that I have so often been hindered from coming to you. But now, with no further place for me in these regions, I desire, as I have for many years, to come to you when I go to Spain. For I do hope to see you on my journey and to be sent on by you, once I have enjoyed your company for a little while. At present, however, I am going to Jerusalem with money for God’s people there; for Macedonia and Achaia have been pleased to enter into partnership with the poor among the believers in Jerusalem.

ROMANS 15:27-29They were pleased to do this, and indeed they owe it to them; for if the Gentiles have come to share in the Jews’ spiritual blessings, they ought also to be of service to them in material things. So, when I have completed this, and have delivered to them what has been collected,I will set out by way of you to Spain; and I know that when I come to you, I will come in the fullness of the blessing of The Messiah.

ROMANS 15:30-33I appeal to you, my dear family,by our Lord Jesus The Messiah and by the love of the Spirit, to fight the battle for me in your prayers to God on my behalf, that I may be rescued from the unbelievers in Judea, and that my service for Jerusalem will be welcomed gladly by God’s people. If this happens, I will come to you with joy, through the will of God, and be refreshed in your company. The God of peace be with all of you. Amen.

ROMANS 16:1-5Let me introduce to you our sister Phoebe, a deacon of the church in Cenchreae. I ask you to welcome her in the Lord in a way worthy of His people and to give her any help she may need from you, for she has been a benefactor of many people, including me. Greet Priscilla and Aquila, my co-workers in King Jesus. They risked their lives for me. Not only I but all the churches of the Gentiles are grateful to them.Greet the church that meets at their house as well.Greet my dear friend Epenetus, who was the

first sign of the Messiah’s harvest in Asia.

ROMANS 16:6-7Greet Mary, who worked very hard for you.Greet Andronicus and Junia, my relatives andfellow prisoners, who are well known among

the apostles, and who were in The Messiah before me.

ROMANS 16:17-20I urge you, my dear family, to watch out for those who cause divisions and problemscontrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them. For such people are not serving our Lord, The Messiah, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of simple minded people. Everyone has heard about your obedience, so I rejoice because of you; but I want you to be wise about what is good, and innocent about what is evil. The God of peace will quickly crush Satan under your feet. May the grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.

ROMANS 16:25-27Now to Him who is able to strengthen you in accordance with my gospel, the message I announce about Jesus The Messiah, in keeping with the unveiling of the mystery hidden for long ages past, but now revealed and made known through the prophetic writings by the command of the eternal God, so that all the Gentiles might come to the obedience that comes from faith— to the only wise God be glory in the coming ages through Jesus The Messiah!

Amen.
