Am I OBSERVING Jesus?Am I FRIENDS with Jesus?

Have I SUBMITTED to Jesus?Am I SURRENDERED to Jesus?

Jesus left the synagogue and went to the home of Simon. Now Simon’s

mother-in-law was suffering from a high fever, and they asked Jesus to

help her. So he bent over her and rebuked the fever, and it left her.

She got up at once and began to wait on them.- Luke 4:38-39

Observers WATCH Jesus

One day as Jesus was standing by the Lake of Gennesaret, the people were crowding

around him and listening to the word of God.He saw at the water’s edge two boats, left there

by the fishermen, who were washing their nets. He got into one of the boats, the one

belonging to Simon, and asked him to put out a little

from shore. Then he sat down and taught the people from the boat.

Friends SERVE Jesus

When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into deep water,

and let down the nets for a catch.”- Luke 5:1-4

Simon answered, “Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught

anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets.”

When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do

people say the Son of Man is?” They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah;

and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” “But what about you?” he asked.

“Who do you say I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the son

of the living God.”
