Book of LIFE

• Philippians 4:3 And I entreat you also, true yokefellow, help those women who labored with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other of my fellow laborers, whose names are in the book of life.

How to have

your name written in

the book of life?

Believe

Repent

Confess

Be Baptized

He adds those who obey the gospel!

• Acts 2:47 Praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as were being saved.

• Hebrews 12:23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, who are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

God controls the book!

• Exodus 32:33 And the LORD said unto Moses, Whosoever has sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.

• Matthew 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

You can forfeit your name

• Revelation 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.

• Revelation 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

YOU can forfeit your name!• Revelation 3:5 He that overcomes, the same

shall be clothed in white clothing; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

• Matthew 10:32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father who is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father who is in heaven.

God keeps record!• Revelation 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and

great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

• 1 Timothy 5:24 Some men's sins are open beforehand, going before to judgment; and some men they follow after.

Rejoice

• Because God has your name written down!

• Because only you can have HIM remove it

• Because you don’t have to be popular to be written in this book….only obedient

Rejoice in Salvation

• 1 Samuel 2:1 And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoices in the LORD, my horn is exalted in the LORD: my mouth boasts over my enemies; because I rejoice in your salvation.

• Acts 8:39 And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.

Rejoice because you control your eternal home!

• Romans 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

• Romans 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Rejoice the debt you owe has been paid

• Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
