If anyone utters His holy name whether out of ignorance or even arrogance and hypocrisy his sins get burned like a bale of cotton gets burnt by fire.

Any person be he hungry, full of sorrow or exhausted(from travails of samsara) if he remembers His name all his sorrows are instantly destroyed.

If anyone forgets His name out of arrogance he suffers from all kinds of misfortune that originate from inauspicious and wicked actions.

No pilgrimage, no charity, no yajnas, no vrats, no austerity, nor the worship of other gods, fulfils of other gods. Its only the chanting of Sri Srinivasa’s names, that showers bountiful good fortunes.

Pilgrimages, yajnas, vrats, dharma, innumerable gifts, none of these, equal even to one sixteenth the merit of chanting His name with devotion.

How fortunate, how fortunate are the devotees of Vishnu! Those who chant His names are far removed Yamaloka. They will attain Yamloka. This is the fruit of chanting His names.

Who can describe the greatness of the name of Lord Vishnu? Ajaamila was freed frm the clutches of death and attained Vaikunt( through the chanting of Lord’s name)

It is Bhaktiyoga through the chanting of Vishnu’s name that saves from samsara. His holy name fills us with devotion.

It is not only Ajmilaa who has crossed the ocean of samsara. Prahalada, Gajendra and several devotees have crossed the ocean of sorrow merely remembering His name. Even now, Lord of Gowri is immersed in the nectarine ocean Harinama. Deities like Brahma have earned immersed glory through meditating on SriHari.

Hey Srinivasa! You are far, far beyond the scope of words, None can describe your might and glory. You are All Powerful and All Pervading. The power of Your name is capable of shattering all the mountains of wicked deeds of all people in all the worlds. Bless me.

You are bereft of a gross name, a gross form or gross activity. You have no births. Yet in order to bless those who worship Your lotus feet, You posses infinite names. You take infinite forms, You posses infinite qualities and your activities are infinite. You have infinite manifestations. I bow to you.

May your mere glance of compassion shower on me as blessings in this world and in the next. There is no doubt that You are my Saviour. This is certain.

You are known as Purusha as You possess the qualities of wealth, power, fame, radiance, knowledge etc, all in full measure. You are known as Mahatma as you are full of concern for your devotees. You are full of knowledge. So you are known as Mahanubhava. So you are fully aware whether I am the recipient of your compassion or not. You are Mahamayi(deluder). So its impossible to fathom Your activities. So the sages describe as Inscrutable. You are great and You are destroyer of sins. I bow to you.

The entire world belongs to you. You captivate and fascinate all the world. So you are know as Mayavi. Mere chanting of Your Holy names gives protection to all. Your holy names protect everyone on land, on mountains, in water, in the air, in middle of thick forests, in the womb and in all the difficulties.

When in danger, if one remembers Your name, the danger vanishes. In the same way, when one forgets You during times of plenty that wealth is destroyed.

Therefore I am always devoted to your names because of Your grace, I belong to you and inspired by You. All the merit that I have earned comes from the strength of Your grace.

I have no fears at all because I am devoted to Your Divine names. Even so, may the merest of your glance ever be on me.

O’ Lord of Lakshmi! Your deeds are diverse and varied. I cannot know because I am full of wrong doings. O All One! What can I say? Show mercy on me and save me.

Great sins are deswtroyed by chanting the names. Body and mind get purified. Thence follows the accumulation of good deeds by your grace.

Good deeds give knowledge and right knowledge earns your love. With this comes Your vision. After one gets immediate vision of the Lord there will be no more miseries of births and deaths. One is liberated and earns moksha. In moksha there will be surfeven oeit of bliss.

Even if one makes countless godhana and kanyadhana though they may be countless like the grains of sands on the earth it will not be equal to the merit that one earns by uttering the Lords name. in the same way even if one feeds crores of people during times of famine on the bank of river Ganga, it will not be equal the merit of chanting His name.

The chanting of Your name which is pure and easy fulfils all desires. Those who are immersed in chanting Your name need have no fears of hell. Such people will be immersed in chanting Vishnu’s name even in moksha as they will be so overcome with devotion.

For all mankind, to be ever immersed chanting of His name with intense devotion is the path that leads to moksha where there is no fears of hell.

The one whose mind is anchored with intense devotion even once at the lotus feet of Vishnu, Yama or his messengers with the noose of death will never approach him even though he may have committed enormous sins. When Yama’s messengers themselves never glance at him there is no question of hell for him.
