sin.

* * 0 We are called to be “a

positive influence to the world!”Mt 5:13 "You are the salt of the

earth” Mt 5:14 "You are the light of the world”●This year we as a congregation

are going to be working on better understanding the idea of “fellowship!”●Fellowship is our theme for this

year!●We can only have fellowship with

God when we have fellowship with one another, they are not mutually exclusive!

Fellowship!

Fellowship is so much more than potluck meals and getting together for game night. Fellowship is the selfless

emersion into each others’ lives.

Page 6: No man is an island!

* * 0We have all heard the saying

“turn that frown upside down!”

Better yet, turn that “M” upside down!

Demanded!●We have been created by God to be people of community!–Gen 2:18 And the LORD God said, "It

is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him."

●We were created to have fellowship with God and to have fellowship with one another! –Gen 3:9 Then the LORD God called to

Adam and said to him, "Where are you?"

Page 10: No man is an island!

* * 0 We cannot be right with God

and wrong with others!●1 Jn 3:23 And this is His

commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us commandment.

●1 Jn 4:20-21 If someone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.

Discribed!(Acts 2:42-47)●At the start of the early church we

find a perfect picture of what true fellowship looks like!–Here are some of the terms used here!–Devoted, the fellowship, all together,

all things in common, all distributing to all in need, day by day attending the temple together, breaking bread in their homes, praising God and having favor will all the people–Result = the Lord added to their

number!

Page 12: No man is an island!

* * 0 Another perfect picture of this

can been seen in (1 Cor. 12)(1 Cor. 12:12-31)

●We are to be in this together! What I do effects you and what you do effects me!●We are “the” body of Christ together!

–1 Cor 12:12 For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ.–1Cor 12:27 Now you are the body of

Christ, and members individually.
