Enza Vita is the founder of the founder and director of the MahaShanti Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to support the spiritual awakening of all beings, Enza has studied with some of the great spiritual masters of our age and after a series of deep awakenings, culminating in a profound spiritual realization in 2007, her life is now dedicated to ignite the flame of truth in others.

Current editor of InnerSelf magazine and former editor of Woman Spirit and Health & Wellbeing magazines, Vita has written an astonishing book, Always Already Free – What is Enlightenment and What Does It Matter Anyway?

 The book has been highly applauded by spiritual giants like Lama Surya Das who described it as “a brilliant contribution to our modern understanding of authentic identity and Presence” and Zen Master GenpoRoshi recommending it as “a book absolutely worthy of your time and attention”.

In Always Already Free, Vita begins each chapter with some pithy wisdom quotations from

spiritual masters and gurus, past and present, and finishes with

short contemplations. Vita bows to the principle that "Each moment, life as it is, is the

only teacher" in other words don't try to escape to the past or the

future but give your whole attention to the HERE & NOW.

Then there is nothing lacking, nothing to be given or taken away and no need to change anything about. Just rest in the moment.

This book succeeds in his

mission to show us how everything is the Way. Again and again, while

reading Vita's book, I found myself, " popping" into the

present moment. I hope you will do the same.

true Self.My favourite book on that subject is

The Seven Steps to Awakening which is a collection of quotes by

RamanaMaharshi, NisargadattaMaharaj, Muruganar, Sankara, Annamalai Swami, Sadhu

OM and Vasistha.

Ms Vita’s book draws from the deepest truths of all major religions and presents difficult spiritual concepts that are written so well that they are easily understood. Though I have read many spiritual books, this one has given me the next step on my journey.
