Psalm 19The Law of the Lord is perfect, refreshing the soul, The decree of the Lord is trustworthy, giving wisdom to the simple, The precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart, The command of the Lord is clear, enlightening the eye,

32

Page 33: God's plan unfolds in the Old Testament - RCIA 14th Sept 2014 (Luke L)

The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever. The Statutes of the Lord are true, all of them just, More desirable than gold, than a hoard of purest gold, Sweeter also than honey or dripping from the comb. By them your servant is instructed, obeying them brings much reward.

33

Page 34: God's plan unfolds in the Old Testament - RCIA 14th Sept 2014 (Luke L)

Who can see one’s own mistakes? Therefore, cleanse me from my secret sins. Keep back your servant from pride, don’t let it dominate me, Then I shall be upright, And I shall be innocent from great sinfulness.

34
