Light rain and cloud will hang onto South Eastern areas though elsewhere will continue with clear spells and cloud. The odd shower cant be ruled out along western coasts though.
A frost may develop in rural areas though particularly in Wales such as Powys and Northern England. Temperatures higher in the East of England due to cloud cover.

Excellent Sunshine should greet the day across Wales, West Midlands and South West England in particular. Elsewhere there will be sunny spells and fair weather cloud. A few showers in Western Scotland may develop later.
The South East will remain under cloud with misty conditions possible with some light rain or drizzle still a possibility.
