Romans 15:4-6 (NKJV) 4For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope. 5Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus, 6that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The common thread or plot of most heroic movies is that in the end the hero wins. No matter how impossible the mission or how unbelievable the odds, these heroic characters find a way using their available resources. When God commissioned our Bible to come forth He charged the writers to document the experiences of believable heroes so that each reader, regardless of their time in history, would have access to the methods of God. Today we will examine a few heroes, past, present, and find the heroic element that exist within each of us.
