1 Peter 2 9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises that ye should shew forth the praises of Himof Him (excellence; virtue) Who hath called you out of darkness into His marvelous light:

We show forth God's CharacterGod's Character when we live our lives God's WayGod's Way.

He blesses us as His dear childrenHe blesses us as His dear children.

1 Peter 3:10-12 (KJV) 10 For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: 11 Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it. 12 For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and His ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.

Words should always be used to encourage, never to discourage.

Blessing and cursing should never come from the same mouth.

James 3:10

Psalms 109 17 As he loved cursing (abuse or put down), so let it come unto him: as he delighted not in blessing, so let it be far from him. 18 As he clothed himself with cursing like as with his garment, so let it come into his bowels like water, and like oil into his bones.

Proverbs 25 11-12 A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver. As an earring of gold, and an ornament of fine gold, so is a wise reprover upon an obedient ear.
